Findon Parish Council (FPC) is delighted to confirm that the refurbished play area was opened at the end of June 2022 and has already become a firm favourite with the children - especially the full length zip wire !

FPC successfully applied for funding from the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) and received £31.5k towards the project.

FPC then received additional grant funding from Arun District Council (ADC) as owners of the land, who also project managed the re-generation on behalf of the Parish Council.

A huge ‘thank you’ must go to FPC Cllr John Wilson, who headed this complex project for the Parish Council.

The success of the new play area demonstrates how partnership working with the SDNPA, ADC, and, of course, EiBE who provided the equipment, can really make a difference to the village.
