LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (SECTION 87(2))

NOTICE OF VACANCY FOR ONE PARISH COUNCILLOR

1. There is a vacancy on the above Council following the resignation of Cllr Paula Whitby.

2. A by-election to fill the vacancies will be held if within 14 days (not counting Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays) from the date below ten electors for the parish/parish ward give notice in writing to the Returning Officer requesting such an election.

3. The Address of the Returning Officer is: Arun District Council, Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, LITTLEHAMPTON, West Sussex, BN17 5LF

4. If no such notice is given within the time allowed the Parish Council will fill the vacancies by co-option.
