Update : At the request of FPC, City Fibre have now placed "Resident Traffic Only - Follow Detour" signage at A24/Horsham Road turn off and at the top of School Hill.  It might help to deter some, but others may still decide to use the village as a detour.  Please continue to stay safe and vigilant.

Many residents have raised concerns about the increased traffic coming through Findon during the Long Furlong closure. Your parish councillors live here too - we are experiencing the same frustrations and are actively raising the safety issues caused by this temporary diversion.

If you witness anti‑social or unsafe driving, please report it directly to the police (999 for emergency situations, 101 for non-emergencies) . These reports are essential, as they provide the evidence the Parish Council needs to push for stronger safety measures in the village.
