NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex

County Council has temporarily restricted speed to all traffic Washington Road, Wiston CP, in the

Horsham District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on

Washington Road for a distance approx 280 metres

The Temporary Speed Restriction is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2026 for up to 5

days (It is estimated to be completed on 31st August 2026) and is required for the safety of the

public and workforce while Tracsis Events undertakes 30mph Speed Restriction for Big Church

Festival 2026

The restriction will be in place 24hrs a day.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the

closure.
